This month Street Photography London partners up with Olympus and photography community EyeEm and we offer you a chance to win a brand spanking new mirrorless Pen-F micro four thirds camera!
The Pen-F is Olympus' revival of its 60s classic for the digital age. We reviewed it earlier this year and you can read more in our review of the Pen-F for street photography.
EyeEm is a global community and marketplace for real photography. With a community of more than 15 million, a place for photographers of any ability to share, interact, and learn more about photography.
Through EyeEm’s photo Missions, Market and global exhibitions, the community showcases their work to brands, individuals and any other third parties interested in licensing images. There are currently over 60 million images on the platform.
The Close Up Street Photography Mission is all about photographing those chance encounters, capturing the culture of the everyday and getting even closer to your subjects. Don't be confused by its name: It needn't be on a street or even in an urban space.
Simply capture daily life in a public place from a close-up angle.
The winner of this Mission will be chosen by SPL's founding editor (yeah that's me) Nicholas "Nico" Goodden, and will win an Olympus Pen-F camera.
The winner will also be interviewed and featured here on Street Photography London, as will a handful of runners-up.
And, of course, all the chosen photographers will star in an EyeEm image collection!
For more details check out the EyeEm website/blog and good luck to you all!
